Our grapes come from vineyards located at higher elevations in California's Central Coast region, where cooler temperatures and more moderate sunlight help to produce grapes with intense flavors and aromas. Crafted with care and attention to detail, this Pinot Noir reflects the unique terroir of the higher-altitude vineyards, resulting in a wine that is both expressive and refined.
Nestled in the rugged terrain of the Gabilan Mountains, the Cienega Valley appellation is a winemaker's secret. Our Pinot Noir is made from grapes selected from narrow terraces in a centuries-old vineyard. The higher elevations and meticulously arranged terraces perfectly balance the temperature and sunlight, and the limestone soils impart a special character. The ancient vineyard, and the well-adapted vines, produce a wine par excellence.

Dear friends,
I have had the honor to make wine in many countries around the world, although most people know me for my work in Italy with my Brunello di Montalcino and my work in Argentina with Malbec.
No place on earth has the same promise of greatness for Pinot Noir that I found on California's Central Coast.
It has been my great pleasure to get to know the finest growers and select the grapes that will offer you the greatest expressions from this marvelous place.
