After more than twenty years of research, started with the creation of the first edition of “La Quadratura del Cerchio” in 1995, we finally arrived to the identification of a diffused Terroir: a set of extraordinary vineyards, which wind along an imaginary thread placed on the 43° North Parallel. The 43° Parallel is magic, it is mystical, it is historical and it is modern, it is marine and it is continental, it is hot and it is cold. The 43rd Parallel North crosses the places that gave origin to the vine – Georgia -, passes through points full of energy, such as Medjugorje or Santiago de Compostela, and reaches Oregon, the new enological frontier of the New World. But it is in its passage over Italy that the 43rd Parallel passes over those areas which for us are the most suitable and expressive for the cultivation of vine: Tuscany, Umbria and Marches.

The right place is the 43rd North Parallel.
On the 43rd grow native vines of great depth: Verdicchio, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Vermentino and Sagrantino; reside terroirs of great character, ranging from the southernmost area of Chianti to Montalcino, from the green and round profiles of the Marche soil to the Crete Senesi. This territory is washed by two different seas and makes it even richer in complexity in the grapes that grow here.
